TAPS is a comprehensive, systematic, progressive Train-the-Trainer course built around a shooting program which focuses on mastering the fundamentals. OSTC incorporates complex individual and collective shooting drills, which are ambiguous in nature, to encourage quick thinking and decisive action.

TAPS’ goal is to expose law enforcement officers and military operators to a more productive way to train and become trainers. Through demonstration, we will create a new culture that stresses the optimum levels of innovation, proficiency and performance. This is accomplished through a method of training which is safe, efficient, combat relevant, encourages a continuous thought process and forces accountability. Each pertinent point is emphasized as it is accomplished to reinforce its effectiveness, and help enable operators to adapt its methodology to other training topics and venues. Traditional training methods that have proven effective over the years will also be refreshed and reinforced.

Law enforcement and military will acquire an alternative training philosophy which translates to other training venues outside of the firing range.

Successful accomplishment of mission during scenario and technique-based training, while adhering to the enduring principles of tactical operations, is the assessment technique used by experienced trainers with extensive combat experience.

Though the methodology of training will remain a constant, the duration of training and depth of instruction will vary based on the specific requirements and skill level of the group and student. We will not leave anyone behind nor leave anyone unchallenged.
