In 1997 CACI was selected as the prime contractor for the development of the DoD's Joint Warfare Simulation (JWARS), a next generation, state-of-the-art computer simulation of joint theater-level warfare. This simulation program was designed to support and facilitate current and future DoD decisions associated with force modernization, military transformation and warfare engagement.

JWARS is a multi-sided simulation of joint theater warfare that enables combatant commanders and multiple DoD organizations to

JWARS provides a state-of-the-art representation of warlike conditions involving land, sea, air and electronic forces interacting over an extended period of time. This includes inter- and intra-theater logistics and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR).

CACI Provides Comprehensive JWARS Functionality

CACI's JWARS solution simulates multiple strategic/theater deployment assets and logistics including

• Strategic Logistics - When a deployment flow scheduler requires modified time phased force and deployment data, JWARS can coordinate and plan strategic movement of units and supplies from port of embarkation (POE) to port of debarkation (POD).
  
• Theater Logistics - JWARS supports the theater movement of personnel, logistics and other support or supplies to installations required to maintain and prolong operations until successful accomplishment or revision of the mission. It can convert delivery to support specific supply requirements. It can also calculate the impact on operations from delayed, misrouted or insufficient supplies.
  
• Joint Warfighting - JWARS coordinates all land, air, space or maritime maneuvers. It can factor in chemical as well as theater ballistic missile defenses. It addresses joint mission areas that include
