Receives Virginia ESGR Above and Beyond Award - Now Eligible for National Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award

We are proud to announce that CACI has been honored with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Above and Beyond award. The award recognizes CACI's support for our National Guard and Reserve employees.

Scott Bartlett nominated CACI for this prestigious award. An Enterprise Technologies and Solutions Group Project Manager, Scott is also a proud member of the Virginia Army National Guard.

CACI Selected From Hundreds of Nominations

The Above and Beyond Award recognizes employers at the state and local level who have exceeded legal requirements for granting leave and providing support for military duty by their employees. Only Guard/Reserve members or their families can submit a nomination.

Scott's nomination of CACI resulted in our company being selected as just one of six Virginia businesses from several hundred nominations submitted to the organization. On May 17, 2008 Scott and Senior VP Dave Dragics accepted the award at a ceremony at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

According to Scott, "I knew that CACI's commitment to its many Guard and Reserve employees was superior. I was honored to nominate CACI for an ESGR award because of its support and its acknowledgment of the sacrifices that many of us who serve in a reserve capacity bring to the company and to our nation. I am proud to be a member of our armed services and working with a company that strives to support the men and women who protect our liberties."

Added Dave, "I was very pleased to represent CACI at this event. It's important that we support our employees who not only hold full-time positions supporting our customers but also have dedicated a significant part of their time outside of CACI to meet the professional and mission demands of the Guard and Reserve. This award recognizes our commitment to their contributions."

Company Now Eligible for National Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award

With the presentation of the VaESGR Above and Beyond Award, CACI becomes eligible for the national Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award to be announced in September. The Freedom Award is the highest recognition given to employers for their support of their employees who also serve in the National Guard and Reserve.

CACI is proud to support our Guard and Reserve employees. We consider it a business imperative to help them in their efforts to defend and protect our country and its citizens.
